Simple networking of Ethernet components
Today's machine and plant networks require fast Ethernet connections, which are implemented by using multi-port Ethernet switches at the nodes.
With its 16x full-gigabit ports and compact design, the IGS-1600T industrial Ethernet switch can connect a variety of Ethernet components to each other and to the local network in a very small space. Simply supply power and get started!
The IGS-1600T meets all the requirements that are placed on a reliable industrial switch. A robust metal housing in IP30, an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +75°C, a redundant and reverse polarity protected power supply from 12 to 48V DC and 6 kV ESD protection.
All 16 ports handle 10/100/1000TX including MDI/MDIX, auto-negotiation and half/full duplex.
The low power consumption of approx. 10W and the built-in EEE power saving function according to IEEE 802.az (Energy Efficient Ethernet) show the commitment and responsibility in the topic "Green IT".
For installations where a fiber optic connection is required for the uplink, the sister model IGS-1820TF offers 2x 1000 SFP ports in addition to the 16x 1000TX ports. Fully administrable switch models are also available for use in larger, managed networks.
