High-end applications in industrial automation such as AI (artificial intelligence) or IBV (industrial image processing) depend on the fast handling of large amounts of data. But great flexibility due to numerous slots is also a decisive criterion for the system developer when selecting the right platform for his solution.
With the ATX motherboards of the MB995 series, Spectra provides exactly this platform. The board series is based on the latest Intel® Core™ processor family of the 8th generation.
With optimized processor and graphics performance, the board series supports both the C246 and Q370 chipsets. A total of four DDR4 sockets take up a maximum of 64GB of system memory.
The boards of the MB995 series have various expansion slots such as 1 x PCIe x16, 1 x PCIe x4, 1 x PCIe x1, 1 x mPCIe and 3 x PCI, which can be flexibly equipped. Furthermore, there are two different M.2 slots on the board. The M.2 2280 slot supports NVMe drives with write speeds up to 3500MB/s (7 times faster than SATA SSDs). The second slot is M.2 2230 with CNVi architecture for WiFi and Bluetooth devices.
External devices are connected via 4 x USB3.1 at 10 Gbps, 5 x USB3.1 at 5 Gbps, 6 x COM and 6 x SATA III.
Available advanced features include iAMT for remote system management and repair, TPM (2.0) for improved system integrity, and vPro and iSMART technology for more energy efficient systems.
