Developers have to consider many factors when deciding on the CPU platform for embedded systems. For example, in addition to technical specifications and quality, scalability and long-term availability also play an important role in the economic success of a new development.
With the mini-ITX boards of the MI989F series, you have an excellent basis for your next embedded system. In addition to the latest CPU and GPU technology, you also get great scalability and guaranteed long availability.
The boards are equipped with AMD Ryzen™ processors of the Embedded V2000 series, which guarantee an availability of 10 years. You have the choice between two performance classes and thus receive a solution that is precisely adapted to the application conditions.
The more powerful version of the boards, the MI989F-2748, offers a maximum CPU frequency of up to 4.25GHz with a TDP of 35 to 54W. The MI989F-2718 has a CPU frequency of up to 4.15GHz, but a much lower TPD of 10 to 25W. Both processors are supported by two DDR4 memories, which you can expand to a total of 64GB.
Both board variants offer you excellent graphics performance with the integrated Radeon™ Graphics. Four DisplayPorts (DP1.4) are available for connecting four independent displays.
For communication, you can use two Intel® Gigabit LAN as well as four USB and four COM interfaces. Functions such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth can be easily upgraded thanks to three M.2 and one PCIe (x16) slot.
The compact boards (170 x170 mm) work at operating temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.
