Master high CPU requirements

Demanding applications such as edge computing, plant control or image processing usually place high demands on the computing power of the embedded systems used.

The fanless Mini IPCs of the NISE 3900 series are suitable for these applications. They are equipped with Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors of the 8th generation based on the Q370/H370 chipset. The most powerful variant works with a quad core CPU and a clock frequency of up to 3.10 GHz on four to six cores and eight virtual threads.

The CPU performance is supported by two DDR4 memories with up to 16GB and further options for mass storage such as M.2, HDD or SSD.

The ingenious cooling concept with a minimized distance between the processor and extended cooling fins in the center of the housing ensures maximum convection cooling. In addition, the heatpipe for chipset cooling is mounted in the opposite direction to the memory and expansion modules.

An mPCIe slot and an M.2 slot for an LTE module offer expansion options. Depending on the model, one or two PCIe x4 slots are then added. Three independent displays are connected via HDMI, DVI-D and DP. And the Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) provides secure data encryption onboard.

The wide input voltage range from 9 to 30VDC and the extended operating temperature range from -5°C to 55 °C are particularly important for industrial applications.
