Automation made easy
For OEMs and system integrators, compact all-in-one controllers offer a particularly convenient way of implementing control tasks. If suitable programming software is included in the package, the implementation of the tasks is very simple.
The 5" and 7" models of the Unistream series combine the all-in-one solution consisting of touch display and control as well as numerous analog and digital inputs and outputs in a compact chassis.
If the number of integrated I/Os is not sufficient, it can be expanded to a total of 2048 I/Os by means of remote DIN rail modules via Ethernet. Additional fieldbus components from other manufacturers are integrated via Modbus RTU/TCP or CANopen.
Recently, the all-in-one PLC+HMI also speaks MQTT, thus facilitating the path to the cloud. SNMP, VNC, FTP, SMS, e-mail and communication via GSM/GPRS modem are also supported.
Both the HMI and the controller are programmed using the modern, free UniLogic® Studio development software. This programming software is very user-friendly and graphically oriented, thus significantly reducing the programming effort.
This all-in-one package consisting of hardware and software from a single source guarantees commissioning without compatibility problems.
