The bridge between Modbus-TCP and Modbus-RTU
The IMG-2200T offers a solution for the integration of industrial control units without Ethernet ports. This industrial converter builds up the connection between devices with the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol and the administrator workstations with Modbus TCP/IP protocol.
The serial RS-232/422/485 interface of the IMG-2200T supports the Modbus RTU/ASCII operating mode and various baud rate options that simplify the integration between the Modbus TCP/IP protocol, the Modbus RTU Master/Slave protocol and the Modbus ASCII Master/Slave protocol.
Connected industrial Modbus RTU/ASCII devices becomes IP based and can be connected to the Modbus TCP/IP network via its RS-232/422/485 serial port and 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 Ethernet port.
The IMG-2200T offers a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and strong electrical surges, such as those found on factory premises or in roadside traffic control cabinets. The wide input voltage range from 12 to 48 V DC, an operating temperature range from -40 to 75°C and the compact IP40-certified metal housing support industrial use even under harsh environmental conditions.
