SMARC modules offer an ideal solution for developers of scalable and extremely compact low-power embedded systems. They allow fast and cost-optimized development of customer-specific systems such as cash register systems or ticket machines. Flexible configuration and a high degree of individuality are possible even with low quantities.

The SMARC modules of the RM-N8M series are based on ARM Cortex processors and are available in four variants (Dual/Quad Core).

In addition to a 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM, an 8 GB eMMC with an expansion option to 64 GB onboard is available.

The credit card-sized short-size format (82 mm × 50 mm) and the low power consumption of well below 5 watts of the SMARC modules allow for a particularly compact and fanless design. And the industrial wide-temp version can be used in a temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C.

The SMARC modules are simply plugged into the corresponding standard interface on the carrier board, which implements all other application-specific functions. Spectra offers a suitable 3.5" carrier board as an option. The SMARC modules can also be combined with any other carrier board with a corresponding standard interface.
