Panel-PC or Box-PC - The choice is yours
Flexibility and resource efficiency are two of the many requirements that system integrators have for panel PCs or box PCs used in industrial environments.
With the Spectra PowerTwin 120 series, we are launching the latest generation of the PowerTwin series of panel and box PCs, which have been successful for several years. The basis of all our series is an intelligent modular system. This is based on a modular concept in which the display is converted into a panel PC by means of a PC unit attached to the rear. The attached PC unit can also be used without the display as a classic box PC.
For the displays, you can choose between multi-touch and single-touch displays with diagonals from 8.4" to 24". Depending on the model in 4:3 or 16:9 format. The flat display front meets the requirements of protection class IP65.
The box PC (PC unit), of the new Spectra PowerTwin 120 series is based on an Intel® Atom™ x6425E processor of the Elkhart Lake family. This processor has 4 physical cores and supports the execution of up to 8 threads simultaneously thanks to Hyper-Threading technology.
It features low power consumption, which makes it ideal for energy-efficient systems. An 8 GB working memory and a 128 GB mass storage support the system's performance.
You have 2 x Intel® i210 Gigabit LAN, four USB, two RS-232/422/485, one VGA interface and one DisplayPort, as well as 4 digital inputs and outputs each. The PC unit supports the inclusion of a SIM card for mobile communication. One Mini PCIe and one M.2 2230 (E-Key) slot each can be used for additional expansions. The special feature here is the arrangement of the interfaces and slots on all four sides of the box PC. This offers you enough space for all plugs and cables.
The user-friendly plug-in principle of the PowerTwin series gives you complete flexibility in your planning and, if necessary, you can convert the Box PC to a Panel PC or replace just one element in a resource-saving manner. The uniform "look and feel" is always maintained.
